Open Access Repositories are generally institution or subject based repositories that offer a complimentary or alternative method for OA publishing of articles as well as other resources such as theses, newsletters, guides, data, and videos. Use the following resources to search for scholarly work in education and related fields. 

Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR) 
OpenDOAR is the major listing of open access repositories. It includes repositories from around the world. OpenDOAR provides both a repository list and a search feature which allows searching by subject area.

Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR) 
Maintained by the University of Southampton, ROAR tracks open access repositories from around the world and allows browsing and searching. 


Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE)
BASE indexes and searches metadata from more than 2,600 open access repositories.
